QUARTZO conducts inspections in airfields, airclubs, ships and platforms, air and aircraft maintenance companies and isolated operators, as well as providing technical advice for construction, modification, operation and maintenance of helipads on land, ships and platforms. The final report will contain:
- non-conformities against regulatory standards and proposed corrective actions;
- conditions of potential risk to flight safety and recommendations for their elimination;

- design advice, in the case of helideck or helideck construction or modification.

In the technical consultancy for helidecks of ships and platforms that intend to operate in Brazilian Jurisdictional Waters (AJB), carried out in Brazil or abroad, QUARTZO will be responsible for the certification and homologation process of the helideck at the Directorate of Ports and Coasts (DPC) and National Agency of Civil Aviation (ANAC), NORMAM 27, as well as the homologation of the Telecommunications and Air Traffic Service Provider Station (EPTA) with the Airspace Control Department (DECEA), as provided in the Aeronautical Command Instruction (ICA) No. 63-10.
During certification and homologation of the helideck, QUARTZO will conduct the Operational Safety Management, with the elaboration of the Risk Analysis Report (RAR) and the Aviation Emergency Plan (PEA), required in NORMAM 27 for the Maritime Units that conduct offshore air operations. Before the operation in AJB, the QUARTZO will conduct pre-audit in the molds of that recommended by the Management of Safety and Competence of Aviation (SCA) of Petrobras, with the particularities of the experience acquired by our auditors in the execution of this type of audit. Our auditors will be available to monitor the inspections by the regulatory agencies (DPC, DECEA and Petrobras).
This service aims to eliminate the inconvenience to the contractor regarding any non-conformities that may hinder or restrict air operations resulting from the Initial or Renewal Inspection by the DPC for certification of the helideck, the Technical-Operational Inspection by DECEA for approval of the EPTA, and the Petrobras audit, as well as to avoid losses related to the undesirable paralysis of air activities on board the Maritime Unit.
